An informal wedding at the summer camp Les Tallades in Barcelona
María and Ignasi had it clear: the conventional weddings weren’t their cup of tea. They wanted an informal wedding in Spain to have a great time with their family and friends. A weekend in a rural house, sleeping in bunks, surrounded of mountains and nature; fun without filters, unexpected surprises and laughs, many laughs. That’s the reason why they looked for a lifestyle wedding photographer in Barcelona who was capable of capturing the emotion and authenticity of each moment. The couple wanted to start the celebration a few weeks before with an intimate and spontaneous pre-wedding shooting in the Foix Swamp, a perfect way to break the ice and gain confidence in front of the camera in a relaxed atmosphere before the big day.
‘It was Saturday, it smelled of spring, and the couple began their day, radiant and with a big smile’
On the wedding day, Maria chose comfort and simplicity: she selected a wedding dress with a soft v-neck and a delicate lace belt. And for the hair, she completed her hairstyle with some white flowers that gave a bohemian touch. The light tones were an essential part of the decoration and, of course, of the styling of the bride. The bouquet, hand-made that morning by her friends, was composed of wildflowers in shades of white, green and violet.
The place chosen for the celebration of this special wedding was the summer camp Les Tallades, a renewed 14th century mansion near Vic, in the middle of a landscape featuring the cliffs of Tavertet, Guilleries and the Sau Swamp. A unique space where nature and party joined for a day.
‘And then came the moment that no one will never forget: when Ignasi and Maria made their entrance in a camper van.’
And the fun moments? They did not stop. The good atmosphere and music did not let anyone return to their places. There was a banquet, gifts, improvised dances, jokes and many more memories that I managed to capture in emotional photographs of the wedding. And this has just been another chapter in a long history; which now continues with a honeymoon for African lands. Nothing better to celebrate their new life as newlyweds. Have a good trip!
