WEDDING IN LA SAGRADA FAMILIA & BELL RECÓ
Anailis and Alex arrived from Miami to Barcelona with the city still quiet in November. They started the day at the SLS Barcelona, facing the Mediterranean. Soft light came in through the windows as they got dressed and the last details were arranged around them.
The day before they organized the welcome party at the Palauet d’Orsà. Friends and family arrived from all over the world. Laughter, hugs, first drinks, conversations that began to mix the groups and to give shape to the weekend. Everything flowed naturally, thanks to Cosa de Tres Barcelona, who took care of organizing and coordinating every detail throughout the weekend.
The ceremony was at the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Anailis arrived in a Rolls-Royce. Light streamed through the stained glass windows in stripes over the pews and the floor. Every gesture, every look, was perceived differently inside that space that seems to stop time.
Then, the celebration, a beautiful wedding in Bell Recó. Arriving from the city was like a change of pace: large garden, the house in the background, staircase and lawn where the guests moved calmly. The aperitif was outside, with live music as the sun went down. When the light dimmed, dinner was moved indoors. The rooms maintained crisp proportions, with high ceilings and large windows letting in what’s left of the afternoon. Maite Mach’s incredible floral decor created an ambiance in shades of white and green, and Aspic catered while speeches and live music accompanied the dinner. And then, of course, the party, with Miami rhythms, entertainers and tattoos for the bravest.
Toasts, dance steps, laughter. Everything happened with its own rhythm, from one space to another. Three stages, one day: SLS Barcelona, ceremony at the Sagrada Familia and celebration at Bell Recó.
