Mediterranean wedding at Casa Fèlix

Carly and Chris are a British couple who were looking for a relaxed way to celebrate their Mediterranean wedding in Spain. The idea of their perfect wedding: spend a few disconnection days surrounded by your guests, only a few and very selected, in an unique environment. The perfect place to celebrate it was Casa Fèlix, a typically Catalan rustic farmhouse in Olivella, a small town located next to Sitges.

When I arrived at Casa Fèlix, Carly and Chris had already been staying there for a few days with some of their guests, who were enjoying in the pool, playing pingpong, etc.

Mediterranean wedding at Casa Fèlix: British style in an historic home in the heart of Catalonia

When the moment to get ready arrived for the bride and groom, both Chris and Carly dressed up at the farmhouse. They were preparing to arrive at the civil ceremony, which took place in the patio of Casa Fèlix, on a splendid day in which the sun were with us the whole day. As a wedding photographer, I appreciate the light of the sun in the outdoor Mediterranean weddings, because it give a special bright to the photos.

According the British tradition, the groom were surrounded with all his bestmen, who dressed alike waiting for the bride. Carly was also with all her bridemaids, arrived at the ceremony with his father in order to meet Chris. When the bride and groom were finally together, it began a very emotional ceremony, with a Spanish wink with the sound of a classical guitar.

Relax, wedding and disconnection

With the newlyweds, I could capture the emotion of the moment in my wedding photos. An euphoric Carly, raising her wild bridal bouquet to the sky and a smiling Chris were the image of happiness. Photos that speak for themselves, as if to say: “Yes! We did it!”.

After the ceremony, was the time to enjoy the cocktail and the banquet, in charge of Gau catering. At that moment, I was able to photograph Carly and Chris more relaxed, enjoying the spaces of the house and toasting together for their wedding. In the other hand, the guests enjoyed the sun, the pool and all the comforts of Casa Félix. The high point culminated with a party with live music by the saxophone Sax on Ara.

Without no doubt, this Mediterranean wedding at Casa Fèlix was emotional, joyful and fun, thanks also to the team of wedding planners Philipa Events, who made a reality the intimate and relaxed wedding that the couple wanted.  So take a look, just good vibes and happiness in each of the pictures!
